praise and worship

We went to prayer meeting last 2 weeks which was held in Sacred Heart Cathedral, KK. Prayer meeting is a weekly gathering, for the purpose of prayer as a group, as its name describes, to give praise, thanks, honor and love to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. It is a time we gather in community, to praise God on a one-to-one basis, as the Holy Spirit moves us. There was an opening prayer, time for praise and worship, singing, prophecy (God speaking through someone), tongues, interpretation of tongues, scripture reading, teachings, testimony and sharing. It's normal when you see lots of people raising their hand and shouted Praise the Lord!, Alleluia!, etc. That is just the way they pray. You do not have to say or do anything you are not comfortable with. You should pray as you feel comfortable, just keep open to the Holy Spirit and pray however you wish.

 

Prayer is the price of spiritual success. Prayer is to the soul what breathing is to the body. If you are too busy to pray then you are busier than God wants you to be. There is nothing beyond the reach of prayer – except that which is outside of the Will of God.

Every Friday night. Christians of all ages are welcome, we are all children of God.

You will experience the fruits of the spirit as you progress.

After that, we went to Lido for supper then headed home.
